As someone who has only used regular perfumes before, trying attars for the first time felt completely new. There’s no alcohol blast, no loud opening—just a soft, natural scent that slowly reveals itself. What stood out to me immediately was how intimate these fragrances feel. They don’t project aggressively; instead, they stay close to you and evolve over time. At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect but within a few minutes, I realized this is a completely different way of experiencing fragrance. It felt less like “wearing a perfume” and more like carrying a scent with you. Fragrance Breakdown (Beginner Perspective) Rose Attar This one felt the most familiar. Soft, slightly sweet, and very calming. It’s not sharp like synthetic rose perfumes it’s smoother and more natural, almost like fresh petals.( My assumption is this is made of red gulab instead of pink one ) Jasmine (Motia) Attar A bit richer and more noticeable than rose. It has a sweet, slightly creamy floral vibe that feels uplifting without being too heavy. Ruh Khus (Vetiver) This surprised me the most. It’s earthy, green, and has a cooling effect almost like standing on wet soil after rain. Very unique and refreshing. Mitti Attar Smells exactly like the first rain on dry earth. Warm, nostalgic, and grounding. It’s not a typical “fragrance” but more of an experience. Shamama Attar This one felt deeper and more complex. Slightly spicy, warm, and traditional. As a beginner, it took me a little time to understand, but it feels very rich and long-lasting. Sample = Averon is damn good
