Our family‑owned distilleries still follow the ‘deg‑bhapka’ method—a centuries-old technique that uses copper stills, cow dung firewood, and sandalwood oil to gently distill the soul of nature into aromatic oils.

What Are Traditional Indian Attars?

Traditional Indian attars are natural, alcohol-free perfume oils made by steam distilling flowers, herbs, spices, roots, or barks into a base of pure sandalwood oil. The process is completely eco-friendly and chemical-free.

How We Make Our Attars: 100% Traditional

1. Fresh botanicals are collected at sunrise and placed into a copper cauldron (deg).
2. The deg is sealed with natural clay and fired over a cow‑dung flame for slow distillation.
3. Steam carrying the essence travels through bamboo pipes into a receiving pot (bhapka) filled with sandalwood oil.
4. The attar is left to mature in camel skin bottles (kuppi), allowing natural breathing and aging.

The result? A deep, complex, and long‑lasting attar that is unlike anything created in synthetic laboratories.
